Key Stage 2 Arabic
MIS is registered as an International Private School at the Supreme Council of Education in Qatar. Accordingly, it follows the requirements of the Council which state that the Arabic language and Islamic Studies must be taught to the native Arabic speakers.
The Supreme Council of Education Program is offered 3 lessons of 45-50 minutes a week for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 where the four areas of language; speaking, listening, reading and writing are covered in interactive ways using different resources to provide quality language instruction by fostering the development of high quality sustainable Arabic language program for 21st century language learners.
The school is trying to involve variety of activities to maintain the children culture and encourage the identity pride while they are interacting with different cultures in an international context.
